Firstly, this was maybe the most expensive movie I’ve ever paid for watching. This was due both to expensive 3D tickets, and also my own stupidity. The original plan was to watch this movie on saturday night. Saturday evening, I come up to Stockholm, excited and prepared to go to the movies. When I checked the confirmation e-mail, I noticed we had bought tickets for last thursday! Nice!

So, the movie had to wait ’til tonight, but now I’ve seen it. And, it was good. It’s a movie that is very nice-looking in 3D. Since almost half of the movie is computer generated, the effects are really spectacular.

The story is really nice, too, that you can escape the real world and become someone, an avatar, who is strong and fast and live in a beautiful forest. Who’s not appealed by that? The whole moral of the story is about keeping our nature in balance, which comes very timely now when we are talking a lot about our coming climate changes and threats.

I just wonder, since everything else in the future was so high-tech and organized, how could they let one guy out with an avatar in that dangerous world with no basic training at all?

Well, I would highly recommend watching this movie, and even if you don’t like it, at least you’ll know what everyone else are talking about, because this is a movie they will be talking about!

The second part of the Twilight trilogy felt pretty much like a sequel. When I saw the first movie I thought it was slow and all about Bella and Edwards attraction to each other. This movie was almost the same, but this time, Bella switches sides and sort of falls in love with Jacob, but at the same time doesn’t. I’m not particularly impressed by the Twilight movies, so far, but my wife sure is. She really gets into these kind of movies and said she wished this movie was another 2 hours longer. I think these movies are more for girls than guys. The main character, Bella, is an easy character to recognize yourself as, at least if you are a person feeling a little “different” or “outside” the normal society. Bella is a bit different than the rest, and Edward for sure is, and they both find true love and as it turns out, both are really “special,” and who wouldn’t want that?

Even if I wouldn’t call this movie fantastic, I wouldn’t go as far as the guy sitting behind me when the end titles started, simply muttering a silent, “stupid.”

Okay movie. Not boring, and not extremely great. I could watch it again, but I’m not buying the DVD.

Very touching movie, I went to bed after watching this movie but couldn’t go to sleep, because I had to think a bout what had happened in it.

One thing bugged me, though, why was the 20-million rupies question so easy? I know, I know, it was the question of his "destiny" or something like that, but still, the show was for professors, doctors and lawyers, you would think they would know the answer to that question. But overall a very good movie.
